The hug

I dreamt of you last night.
It was you all right,
although the setting
- as always in a dream -
was highly unlikely.

We did not speak
But simply hugged

a long, loving
tight hug

A hug so strong
so full of tenderness and desire
it felt like a slow, tidal wave
enveloped in fire.
